Danielle Giovenazzo
PhD BSc (Hons) P.Geo
Danielle is a Canada-based geologist with extensive exploration management experience focused on nickel, copper and PGE sulphides. Her work with Falconbridge, Xstrata Nickel and Castillian Resources has covered brownfield and greenfield projects in North America, South America, Africa and Australia.
As a senior geologist for Falconbridge, her project generation activities led to acquisitions of high quality Ni-Cu projects. She also participated in the discovery of significant new nickel resources in the Raglan mining camp, Northern Quebec. Danielle has managed teams and projects in various areas of the world and is well acquainted with the more practical aspects of conducting exploration for magmatic sulphides.
Danielle is Exploration Director for the group’s activities in West Africa. Outside of Newgenco, Danielle maintains limited consulting activities in regions not affected by her Newgenco exclusivities
