Kim France has accepted the role of Company Secretary for the newgenco group of companies.
Kim has over 35 years experience in commerce, mainly in executive roles. He is currently CFO and Company Secretary of Ethan Minerals Ltd, a company listed on the ASX. He is a former CFO and Company Secretary of 3 other ASX listed companies, 4 financial institutions and numerous non-listed, public and private entities.

John Paul (JP) Hunt has been appointed Exploration Manager – Projects for Newgenco’s activities in Scandinavia.
Working closely with project JV partner First Quantum Minerals and its local subsidiary, Kevitsa Mining, JP’s current focus is on the region surrounding the Kevitsa Ni-Cu-PGE deposit in Finland.
Rebecca Sproule will continue to manage regional reconnaissance exploration within the Fennoscandia Ni-Cu targeting Alliance with First Quantum.

Newgenco has joined a number of major exploration companies as a subscriber to the Global Lithospheric Architecture Mapping (GLAM) database products.
GLAM was initiated by WMC Resources and further developed by BHP Billiton, both in collaboration with the GEMOC Key Centre at Macquarie University.
The product is the first systematic attempt to map the Sub Continental Lithospheric Mantle (SCLM) in 4-dimensions, including details of mantle evolution, the trans-lithospheric architecture and history of individual domains.
The Project was initiated to create a breakthrough in exploration success rate for world class ore deposits.
Dr Graham Begg has been the principal researcher of GLAM and has commercialised the products through his company Minerals Targeting International Pty Ltd.

Newgenco’s recently announced West Africa Ni-Cu-PGE Targeting Alliance will benefit from First Quantum’s sponsorship of the West Africa Exploration Initiative (WAXI) - a collaborative research project operated by AMIRA International Ltd and sponsored by all the major geological surveys and many exploration and mining companies operating in West Africa.
The project provides access to leading edge research on the architecture, geochronology and metallogenesis of the West African Craton.
Initiated in November 2006 to enhance the exploration potential of the Leo-Man Shield, Stage 2 of the initiative commenced on 1st March 2010.
In March 2010, Newgenco Exploration (West Africa) Pty Ltd (‘NEWA’) signed a 2-year strategic exploration targeting alliance with TSX- and LME-listed First Quantum Minerals to explore for large magmatic nickel-copper-platinum group element (Ni-Cu-PGE) sulphide resources across a number of countries in West Africa.
First Quantum is one of the world’s fastest growing copper producing companies with a developing commitment to nickel production through its 100% ownership of the Kevitsa Ni-Cu-PGE deposit in northern Finland and the Ravensthorpe Ni-Co laterite operation in Western Australia.
The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Western Australia has appointed Dr John Simmonds and Dr Rebecca Sproule as Adjunct Research Fellows within the Centre for Exploration Targeting (CET).
Rebecca will work with the the Centre on supporting its Ni-Cu-PGE Mineral Systems research initiative.
John will work with the Centre on supporting its exploration business and Ni-Cu-PGE Mineral Systems research initiatives.
